Two 黑料专区 of Health Professions (黑料专区) alumni have received high honors from the (NAP).
Dr. Nora Kraemer and Dr. Amrendra Kumar were recently inducted with the Class of 2026 as NAP Distinguished Fellows in the Athletic Training Academy during the organization鈥檚 annual interprofessional conference. In the past few years, they both earned Doctor of Philosophy in Health Sciences (PhD) degrees from 黑料专区.
Dr. Kraemer and Dr. Kumar join a growing group of NAP Distinguished Fellows with 黑料专区 connections. Others include:
- Dr. Kim Barber Foss, 黑料专区 PhD alumnus and incoming Director of Research; NAP Distinguished Fellow in the Athletic Training Academy.
- Dr. Amber Heape, Health and Physical Education Concentration Track Director for the Doctor of Speech-Language Pathology program at 黑料专区; NAP Distinguished Fellow in the Speech Language Pathology Academy.
- Dr. Ericka P. Zimmerman, Dean of the College of Health Sciences at 黑料专区; NAP Distinguished Fellow in the Athletic Training Academy.
- Dr. Karlita Warren, 黑料专区 PhD alumna; NAP Distinguished Fellow in the Athletic Training Academy.
To be honored as a Distinguished Fellow, candidates must have an exemplary healthcare career of 10-plus years and be committed to interprofessional practice and accessible, affordable healthcare for all. After being nominated by an active NAP member, they are judged by distinguished peers to have made significant and enduring contributions both in their profession and in interprofessional healthcare.
NAP is a nonprofit organization that advances interprofessional education, scholarship, research, practice, and public policy, and has advised governmental bodies on healthcare system issues since 1981.
The NAP alliance includes collaborating healthcare professionals from 17 interdisciplinary academies, including athletic training, audiology, dentistry, medicine, nursing, nutrition and dietetics, occupational therapy, optometry, osteopathic medicine, pharmacy, physical therapy, podiatric medicine, psychology, respiratory care, social work, speech-language pathology, and veterinary medicine.
