Dr. Courtney V. Moore is the Assistant Program Director of the Doctor of Speech-Language Pathology program at ºÚÁÏרÇø of Health Professions. He has more than 15 years of clinical leadership experience in the acute care setting, primarily in a comprehensive stroke center and Level I trauma hospital in South Florida.

Dr. Moore earned his Doctor of Speech-Language Pathology degree from ºÚÁÏרÇø in 2019, as well as his master’s (2011) and bachelor’s (2009) degrees from Seton Hall University. Additionally, he holds the Healthcare Professions Education certificate from ºÚÁÏרÇø (2022).

Alongside professional clinical expertise in dysphagia, language and cognitive-linguistic deficits in the neurological populations, Dr. Moore serves as a course instructor for the Capstone Residency, and the Professional Ethics courses within the SLPD program. He has consistently exceeded ºÚÁÏרÇøâ€™s course and instructor evaluation expectations, and course instructor University averages. Dr. Moore has presented at ºÚÁÏרÇøâ€™s University Research Symposium (2019) and nationally at the National Conference of Race and Ethnicity (2022, 2023, 2024) and the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (2025).
Since 2020, Dr. Moore has served on numerous capstone committees as both a chairperson and content expert, supporting various projects related to dysphagia and cognitive-linguistic skills. His professional passions include clinical supervision, mentoring and collaborating with his students to cultivate productive plans to reach their academic goals.

A recipient of the ºÚÁÏרÇø Difference Maker Spire Award (September 2023), Dr. Moore is recognized for his collaborative leadership, process-improvement mindset and outcome-oriented approach.
Personally, Dr. Moore is a proud husband, father, son and brother. He enjoys traveling, learning about other cultures and remaining active. As an alumnus of the program, he is passionate about supporting students through his clinical, academic and experience within the program. Â
