Dr. Michele K. Johnson is an adjunct for the Doctor of Occupational Therapy Entry-level program at ºÚÁÏרÇø of Health Professions. She is an occupational therapist and educator with over 25 years of clinical and academic experience. She earned her Post-Professional Doctor of Occupational Therapy degree from ºÚÁÏרÇø of Health Professions in 2015 and her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of North Dakota in 1999.

Dr. Johnson previously served as a tenured Associate Professor at The College of St. Scholastica, where she taught for nine years and contributed to the education and professional development of future occupational therapists. Throughout her academic career, she has held leadership roles including Academic Fieldwork Coordinator and served for six years as a member of the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education Roster of Accreditation Evaluators. She has also presented at numerous professional conferences on topics related to occupational therapy education and practice.

Dr. Johnson’s clinical and scholarly interests include adolescent and adult mental health, substance use disorders, behavioral health, and health and wellness promotion. Her work focuses on advancing occupation-based practice and supporting individuals in achieving meaningful participation in daily life.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Dr. Johnson enjoys spending time with her family, birdwatching, walking in nature, and listening to audiobooks.
