Additional Healthcare Resources:

Emergency Information

In case of emergency, a student should immediately dial 911 and then report the emergency to a University employee. There are first aid kits and an automated external defibrillator in all University buildings. While on campus, any student, employee, or guest of the University that requires emergency medical attention may have the required care summoned from local resources at the discretion of the employee(s).

In emergency situations, students assume responsibility for their healthcare and the financial responsibility for any required medical, dental, or mental health assistance.

For non-emergency situations, students are encouraged to seek healthcare providers covered via their insurance policy. In all cases, involved students must complete an Incident Form available from the University鈥檚 Safety Officer, Penny Boothe.

Get Involved at 黑料专区

As an 黑料专区 student, you have several opportunities to get involved and make a difference for the 黑料专区 community. If you are a residential student, we encourage you to run for a position in your student leadership during your first semester. All students are also welcome to join our UDEI, Student Social Association, and Student Service Association. Please read the sections below for more information and reach out to sss@rm.edu to learn more about these opportunities.

Student Leadership (Residential Students)

If you are a residential student, your cohort leadership group will be organized during your first semester on campus.

Student leaders represent in their cohort and program on all matters pertaining to their general welfare as graduate students, including extracurricular activities, professional development opportunities, networking, and more. Cohort leadership councils also serve as liaisons to their cohort and communicate with their program, other 黑料专区 student cohort leadership councils, and the University

To get in touch with your cohort鈥檚 leadership group, reach out to your program coordinator or email听sss@rm.edu.

黑料专区 Student Senate

The 黑料专区 Student Senate is comprised of student representatives from every academic program at the University. It serves as a communication conduit to ensure the student voice is heard and to ensure that students are aware of University initiatives. Students serving on the Student Senate can collaborate with other Senate representatives from all academic programs on initiatives and goals to improve the student experience at 黑料专区. If you are interested in serving on the 黑料专区 Student Senate, please get in touch with your program director or Student Affairs at studentaffairs@rm.edu.

Authentic Inclusive Community (AIC)

The 黑料专区 Authentic Inclusive Community (AIC) provides students with an opportunity to represent their individuality and support the inclusion of diverse and multicultural interests across campus. Students serve alongside faculty and staff, working collaboratively to strengthen 黑料专区鈥檚 sense of community.

The AIC promotes a campus culture that encourages meaningful social interaction and fosters appreciation and celebration of our differences. Through planning educational events and panel discussions, the committee works to prevent and address inequities affecting individuals and communities.

Students interested in becoming involved with the AIC are encouraged to contact Dr. Courtney Moore (courtney.moore@rm.edu) or Dr. Megan Kisner (megan.kisner@rm.edu).

Student Social Association (all students)

Student Social Association (SSA) members represent the social needs and interests of all students by providing non-academic opportunities for student engagement through student-run activities. The Student Social Association strives to build a unified campus community where all residential and non-residential students can come together and create lasting social connections.

All current 黑料专区 students are invited to be a part of the Student Social Association! If you鈥檇 like to be involved, please contact sss@rm.edu.
